Peppermint
has a history dating back to ancient Egypt. This is one of the most popular
herbs in the world. It tastes wonderful and it is best known for its use
in digestive problems.
Peppermint helps relieve indigestion, flatulence, spasms, diarrhea, nausea, cramps and travel sickness. It is also used as an expectorant (causing the coughing out of phlegm).
Peppermint can be used as a mild painkiller in the treatment of tooth discomfort, muscle and mental fatigue. It has been very effective in relieving menstrual cramps. Because of this it is very popular amongst women.
